HGV Class 1 Driver Worcester

Full Time
We are looking for a HGV Class 1 driver to join our busy team in Worcester.
This Role Involves
- equipment checks
- delivery driving
- loading/unloading of lorries
- general yard duties fulfilling our excellent service standards and high expectations.
You will be required to deliver to our varied customer base in a host of different industry sectors from large scale events and festivals to construction sites and industrial premises.
There will be some occasional nights out, some weeks none, some weeks one or two. Opportunities exist to broaden your knowledge and skill set on our hire fleet and are actively encouraged to ensure we offer the very best service to our customers.

The ideal applicant will be flexible in nature with a can-do attitude that likes to exceed customers’ expectations and assist with the various aspects of our industry.
This position is full time and flexibility in respect of working hours is expected.
About You
- HGV class 1 licence is essential.
- ADR licence would be an advantage. (Class 3 & 9 Packages)
- Good time management, ability to organise and prioritise work.
- Able to work on own initiative.
- Attention to detail.
- Have a strong commitment towards safe working practices.
- Have a professional attitude and excellent communication skills.
Experience
- HIAB: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification
- ADR licence (preferred)
- Category CE Licence (required)

Desirable
Someone with experience of operating a lorry-mounted HIAB crane with previous experience within a similar role but this is not essential as training will be provided.
