HGV Class 1 Night Driver - Redditch
Start Date: Immediate Start Available
Pure Staff are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Night Driver to join one of our well-established clients based in Redditch. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity offering an immediate start and the chance to secure a permanent position with a salary of £45,000 per year.

The Role
As an HGV Class 1 Night Driver, you will be responsible for completing scheduled deliveries to retail stores across the UK. This is not a trunking role, and drivers will play an active part in ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
Full training will be provided, including store opening procedures where required. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional operation with a modern fleet and supportive working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete scheduled deliveries to retail stores across the UK.
- Open stores where required, following company procedures and training provided.
- Assist with unloading deliveries at customer locations.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
- Operate Class 1 vehicles safely and professionally at all times.
- Ensure delivery paperwork is completed accurately.
- Adhere to all driver hours, working time regulations, and company procedures.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including wearing the correct PPE.
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach when representing the company.
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout every shift.

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations.
- Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
- A reliable, professional, and safety-conscious attitude.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
