HGV Yard Shunter Driver - Derby - Pride Park
We're currently recruiting for experienced HGV 1 to work with a well-established logistics company based in Derby. This is a great opportunity for ongoing, full-time work.
As a Shunter Driver, you'll be responsible for:
- Completing trailer swaps around the yard
- Operating curtain-side or Box trailers, depending on the load
- Ensuring all internal paperwork is completed
- Maintaining professional standards at all times
- High standard of safe systems of work
- You may also on occasion be asked to go a run and cover any drivers due to sickness/absence if required.

Hours & Pay for Class 1 driver:
- 12:00 lunch time till 21:00pm
- Days: Sunday - Thursday Basis.
- Pay Rates: £17.00-£19.00
- Weekly pay every Friday
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Experience with curtain-side trailers preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
