HGV Class 1 Shunter Nights
Our Client based in Clay Cross, Chesterfield is after a HGV 1 Shunter on nights, this is a fixed shift of every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Hours of work are 6pm - 6am.
Location: Clay Cross, Chesterfield
Pay: £18.00 per hour (£810 per week)
Shift: Fixed shift - Thursday Sunday, 6pm 6am
Contract: Temp to Perm
Experience: Minimum 1 year HGV Class 1 experience

Duties
- Shunting HGV vehicles and trailers around the yard.
- Coupling and uncoupling trailers safely.
- Positioning vehicles and trailers for loading and unloading.
- Completing daily vehicle safety checks.
- Following site procedures and instructions.
- Reporting any defects, damage or hazards.
- Maintaining a safe and tidy yard.

Health & Safety
- Follow all site Health & Safety procedures.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
- Follow speed limits and designated routes.
- Take care when reversing and manoeuvering vehicles.
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- Minimum 1 years HGV experience.
- Excellent temp-to-perm opportunity with fixed shifts and consistent hours.
