Pro1 Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Tug Shunter Drivers to join a busy and fast-paced logistics operation in Hinckley. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for ongoing, secured work with a competitive hourly rate and a consistent 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.

The Role

  • Shunting trailers safely around a busy distribution yard
  • Completing approximately 80-90 trailer moves per shift
  • Working efficiently while maintaining high safety standards
  • Liaising with the transport team to ensure smooth yard operations
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects

Requirements

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license
  • Previous tug shunter or yard shunter experience
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Good awareness of health and safety procedures
  • Reliable, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
