The Role
Responsibilities
As an HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver, you'll play a key role in ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks to ensure your vehicle remains safe and roadworthy
- Completing deliveries and collections in line with manifests and schedules
- Communicating effectively with the traffic office and reporting any delays or issues promptly
- Following all company policies, customer requirements, and Highway Code regulations
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times
- Complying with EU Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, and tachograph regulations
- Keeping your vehicle clean, tidy, and presentable

What You'll Need
To Be Successful In This Role, You'll Have
- A valid LGV C+E (Class 1) Licence
- A valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Strong communication skills
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent service
