Class 1 HGV Tramper Driver
Location: Lutterworth
Pay: £200 per day + £25 Night Out Allowance
Job Type: Ongoing Agency Work
Start Date: Immediate
365 People are recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV Tramper Drivers on behalf of a well-established and growing transport company based in Lutterworth.
Due to continued fleet expansion, our client is looking to add reliable, proactive drivers to their team on an ongoing basis, with 12 months of guaranteed work available.
The Role
- General haulage across England, Wales, Scotland and London
- Deliveries and collections for a range of customers, including Sainsbury's
- Variety of loads including palletised goods, steel pipes, brewery products and sugar
- Some handball involved, depending on customer
- Limited Aldi self-tip work (approximately five loads per week across the fleet)
- No ADR licence required
- No port work
- No meat deliveries

Pay & Benefits
- £200 per day
- £25 per night out (£1,100 per week!)
- Guaranteed work 12 months of the year
- Opportunity to work a sixth shift during peak periods
- Modern fleet of 1722 plate DAF, Scania and Iveco sleeper cabs
- Every vehicle fitted with a microwave and fridge
- Drivers remain paid during scheduled vehicle PMI inspections
- Shower and food facilities available on site or at nearby truck stops
Shift Pattern
- Monday induction from approximately 8:00am
- Variable daily start times between 05:00 08:00, communicated daily
- Average shifts of 10-12 hours, with shorter days where operationally required

What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' Class 1 (C+E) experience
- Aged 21 or over
- Maximum 6 penalty points (SP endorsements only)
- Strong general haulage experience preferred
- Drivers who can work independently, plan their own routes and use their initiative
- Professional attitude with a focus on customer service and efficiency
