Class 1 HGV Tramper Driver Appleton, Warrington
Permanent | Full Time
Earn up to £57,722 per annum
Are you an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for a permanent tramping role with a well-established and growing transport operation? We are recruiting professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team based in Appleton, Warrington.
This role offers regular UK-wide general haulage tramping work, modern equipment, and the opportunity to build a long-term career within a successful transport and logistics business. For drivers looking to broaden their experience, there may also be opportunities to support our specialist Formula 1 and international events logistics division during the events season.
The Role
- Nationwide deliveries and collections across the UK.
- General haulage and tramping operations.
- RDC deliveries and collections.
- Trucking and distribution work.
- Customer deliveries and collections.
- Drop and swap operations.
- Ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently.
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.
- Adhering to Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Tachograph regulations.
- Providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and professionalism.

Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience preferred.
- No more than 6 penalty points with no DD or DR convictions.
- A flexible approach to tramping and working away from home.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- A reliable, professional and safety-focused attitude.
Desirable But Not Essential
- European driving experience.
- Experience operating left-hand drive vehicles.
- Previous general haulage or tramping experience.
- Experience within events, exhibition or specialist logistics.
