HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers Wanted – Somerset

Drivers Today are recruiting HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers for long-term work based in Somerset.
We're looking for professional Class 1 drivers who are comfortable being away during the week and want regular, dependable work rather than constantly searching for their next shift.
You'll be covering a variety of routes across the UK, making this an ideal position for experienced trampers who enjoy the freedom of nationwide driving.
🚛 The Job
- HGV Class 1 / Category C+E Tramping
- Nationwide deliveries and collections
- General haulage
- Monday to Friday work
- Nights out during the week
- Modern HGV vehicles
- Regular ongoing work
- Long-term opportunities

This is genuine tramping work, so you'll need to be comfortable spending nights away from home and managing your working week professionally.

👤 What We're Looking For
To apply, you'll need:
- Valid HGV Class 1 / Category C+E Licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time regulations
- Previous Class 1 experience preferred
- Previous tramping experience advantageous
- Maximum 6 penalty points
- Reliable and professional attitude
Most importantly, we're looking for drivers who enjoy life on the road, take pride in their vehicle and can be relied upon week after week.
