The Roles
We are recruiting Class 1 Tramper Drivers and also Class 1 Drivers to work from our depots in Ballymena, Birmingham, Heysham and Birkenhead.

As a Tramper Driver
- You'll spend nights out on the road, delivering across the UK and Ireland in a well-maintained, modern sleeper-cab fleet.
As a Class 1 Driver
- You'll run routes from your home depot, with the potential to work a variety of shift patterns.
Whichever role suits you, you'll be a key part of our operation. We're looking for safety-focused, reliable professionals who take pride in delivering on time, every time.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport goods safely and efficiently to customer locations, complying with all road traffic laws, drivers' hours, and tachograph regulations
- Carry out thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and trailer checks, reporting any defects promptly
- Load, unload and secure cargo correctly for safe transport
- Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately
- Communicate clearly with the planning team on schedules, delays and any issues on the road
- Represent TST Group professionally with customers at all times
- Follow company health, safety and operating procedures

What We're Looking For
- A full Category C+E (Class 1) licence with a good driving record
- Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
- Proven experience as a Class 1 driver, with a sound knowledge of drivers' hours and commercial driving regulations
- Tramping experience is an advantage for Tramper roles (spending nights out in the cab)
- Excellent time management and the ability to work independently under pressure
- Strong communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude
