RATES:
HGV Class 2
- Days: from £16.40 up to £24.60 per hour
- Nights: from £17.40 up to £26.10 per hour
Estimated weekly pay based on 45 hours £738
Expected annual earnings £38,376
HG Recruitment are recruiting for a HGV Class 2 in partnership with Wickes at the Wincanton, campus site, Cullompton
Professional HGV Class 2 Drivers are required to APPLY NOW to join the team delivering home improvement products directly to customers.
DUTIES:
- Carrying out multi-drop home deliveries in a safe and timely manner
- Working alongside a Drivers Mate to complete two-person deliveries
- Ensuring loads are secure and transported safely
- Providing excellent customer service during deliveries
- Completing delivery paperwork and using handheld devices where required
- Adhering to driver hours regulations and working time rules
- Reporting any vehicle defects or delivery issues to the transport office

Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements
- Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to complete multi-drop deliveries and manual handling tasks
- Reliable, professional and able to work independently
