4 on, 4 off | Days 05:00–17:00 | Paid breaks
Day rate: £16.00 per hour | Overtime
Biomarsh is recruiting HGV Class 2 (Category C) Tanker Drivers to support wastewater collection operations from our Northampton Location Yard, across utilities and environmental-services sites.
This is direct employment—not agency work—on a 4 on, 4 off rota. Regular overtime and Bank Holiday working are required when they fall on your shift.
Essential requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence, full Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
- Good road knowledge and the ability to plan your own routes
- Understanding of UK Domestic Drivers’ Hours rules
- Confidence using Apps via tablet for jobs, updates and documentation
- Excellent customer service and a tidy, professional approach
- Residence within approximately 45 minutes of the vehicle base
- Flexibility for regular overtime and Bank Holiday working when rostered
- Tanker experience preferred, but not essential as full training is provided.

What you’ll do
- Drive a Class 2 tanker to collect and transport wastewater from a variety of sites
- Complete safe loading and unloading using hoses, valves and pumps as required
- Follow all health, safety, environmental, PPE and site procedures
- Complete daily vehicle checks, report defects and keep the vehicle clean and presentable
- Use a tablet to manage jobs, status updates and required documentation
- Maintain accurate job sheets, collection logs and waste records where required
- Communicate professionally with customers and the transport team.
