HGV Class 2 Driver - Manchester | Temporary Vacancy | Immediate Starts
This is a temporary vacancy.
Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to support our client based in Manchester. This is an ongoing ad-hoc role offering flexible weekday work, making it ideal for drivers looking to fit work around their availability while enjoying regular shifts.
Pay
- £15.40 per hour
- + £2.15 per hour holiday pay accrued
The Role
- Multi-drop local deliveries (10-12 drops per shift)
- Delivering fresh fruit and vegetables
- Offloading using a tail lift and pump truck
- Completing deliveries safely, accurately, and on time

Shift Details
- Start time: 4:00 AM until finish
- 8-10 hour shifts
- Monday to Friday available
- Optional Saturday shifts
- Ongoing ad-hoc work
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence held for a minimum of 6 months
- At least 3 months' Class 2 driving experience
- Minimum age of 25 years
- Good knowledge of UK road traffic and tachograph regulations
- Reliable, flexible, and professional approach
- Good communication skills
