Job Description
We are seeking experienced and dependable HGV 2 Drivers for ad hoc assignments across the CM postcode area. This role is perfect for those looking to work flexibly while earning a competitive daily rate. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a variety of clients, providing crucial delivery services.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate HGV 2 vehicles, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance needs.
- Accurately complete all delivery paperwork and submit it as required.
- Maintain high standards of customer service at each delivery point.
- Comply with all UK driving laws, regulations, and safety procedures.

Requirements
- Valid HGV 2 licence.
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) card is essential.
- Digital Tachograph card.
- Prior experience as an HGV 2 driver.
- Excellent knowledge of UK road laws and driving regulations.
- Ability to work on an ad hoc basis, with availability at short notice.
- Strong communication skills and professionalism.
