Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, start times from 04:00
Location: Dartford (with travel across the South)
About the Role

We're looking for a Class 2 HGV Driver to join our Network Rail operation based in Dartford. This is a unique opportunity to support critical rail infrastructure projects across the UK, ensuring essential materials and equipment are delivered safely, efficiently and on time.
This is a varied role where you'll spend approximately 60% of your time supporting our Dartford operation and 40% travelling to other DHL sites across the South. Regular nights away from home will be required, with overnight stays typically taken in the vehicle cab while utilising depot facilities.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Class 2 HGV Driver, you'll play a key role in supporting the rail network by:
- Delivering essential materials, tools and equipment to Network Rail sites across the South of the UK.
- Operating safely and professionally, ensuring compliance with Drivers' Hours regulations, Working Time Directive requirements and company policies.
- Completing vehicle safety checks, reporting defects and maintaining high standards of vehicle care.
- Representing DHL and our customer professionally while providing excellent service at a variety of locations.
- Supporting operations across multiple sites, adapting to changing priorities and travel requirements.

What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from candidates who:
- Hold a valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Have no more than 6 points on their driving licence.
- Have experience operating a Moffett or Counterbalance Forklift.
- Are comfortable travelling across the South and undertaking regular nights out.
- Can work independently and adapt to different sites and operational environments.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, compliance and customer service.
- Have previous HGV driving experience.
