HGV Class 2 Drivers Various Roles
Location: Colchester, Essex and surrounding areas
Job Type: Temporary, ongoing and ad hoc opportunities available
Pay: £16.00 - £20.00 per hour, depending on role, shift pattern and client
Brighthire Recruitment are currently looking for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers for a range of driving opportunities in and around Colchester, Essex.
We have various roles available to suit different experience levels and availability, including days, nights, multidrop, general haulage, deliveries, collections, refuse, pallet work and ongoing assignments with local clients.
Pay rates range from £16.00 to £20.00 per hour, depending on the role, start time, shift pattern, client and assignment type. We believe in being clear and honest with drivers, so all pay rates, shift details and job information will be confirmed before you accept any work. Typical duties may include:
- Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles safely and professionally
- Completing deliveries and collections across local, regional or Essex-based routes
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Ensuring paperwork and delivery notes are completed correctly
- Following all road transport, tachograph and working time regulations
- Representing both Brighthire Recruitment and our clients in a professional manner
We are looking for drivers who have:
- A valid UK HGV Class 2 licence
- Valid CPC qualification
- Valid digital tachograph card
- Previous Class 2 driving experience
- A professional and reliable approach to work
- Good knowledge of driver hours and road transport regulations
