HG Recruitment are recruiting professional HGV Class 2 Drivers for ongoing work based at the Wincanton Distribution Centre, Garanor Way, Portbury, Bristol, BS20 0NE. If you are an experienced HGV Driver, Class 2 Driver, LGV Driver, or Category C Driver, we want to hear from you. New Pass HGV Drivers are also welcome to apply.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking full-time or part-time work, with flexible shift patterns and ongoing opportunities throughout the year.
Work Pattern: Tuesday Saturday
Start Time: 05:00
Average Shift Length: 8-10 Hours
Please note: The first 45-minute break is unpaid and deducted from shift hours worked.

Pay Rates
- HGV Class 2 Day Shifts
- £17.54 per hour Standard Rate (Monday to Saturday)
- £26.31 per hour Overtime Rate
- £26.31 per hour Bank Holiday Rate
- HGV Class 2 Night Shifts
- £18.54 per hour Standard Rate
- £23.25 per hour Overtime Rate
Estimated Weekly Pay (based on 45 paid hours): £789.30
Expected Annual Earnings: £41,043
The Role
HG Recruitment are recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers in partnership with Wickes at the Wincanton campus site in Portbury, Bristol. Professional HGV Class 2 Drivers are required to APPLY NOW and join the team delivering home improvement products directly to customers.

We are looking for reliable and customer-focused drivers to complete multi-drop home deliveries for Wickes customers. Drivers will work alongside a Driver's Mate to safely deliver building and home improvement products to residential addresses.
Duties
- Carrying out multi-drop home deliveries in a safe and timely manner.
- Working alongside a Driver's Mate to complete two-person deliveries.
- Ensuring loads are secure and transported safely.
- Providing excellent customer service during deliveries.
- Completing delivery paperwork and using handheld devices where required.
- Adhering to Driver Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Reporting any vehicle defects or delivery issues to the transport office.
- Representing HG Recruitment and Wickes professionally at all times.

Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements.
- New Pass HGV Drivers welcome.
- Good knowledge of Driver Hours and Working Time regulations.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to complete multi-drop deliveries and manual handling tasks.
- Reliable, professional and able to work independently.
