Class 2 Day Driver (General Haulage)
Location: Direct deliveries across the Midlands and surrounding areas
Hours: Monday to Friday | Early starts between 04:00 - 07:00
Contracted Hours: Guaranteed 48 hours per week
Salary & Overtime
- Basic Salary: £31,749.12 per annum (£12.72 per hour)
- Paid monthly on the last working day of each month
- Overtime Rate 1: £15.36 per hour after 9.6 hours per day and up to Saturday 13:00
- Overtime Rate 2: £19.54 per hour from Saturday 13:00 through Sunday midnight
- Bank Holidays: £19.54 per hour plus a day in lieu
- ✅ Plenty of overtime available for those looking to boost their earnings
The Role
We're looking for a reliable and professional Class 2 Driver to join our General Haulage team. You'll be responsible for completing single-drop and groupage deliveries, predominantly across the Midlands, ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time.

To Be Successful In This Role, You'll Need
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence
- Current Driver CPC (DQC Card)
- Good understanding of:
- Highway Code
- EU Tachograph Regulations
- Working Time Regulations
- Road Transport Legislation
- Previous experience completing multi-drop pallet deliveries
- A flexible and positive approach to work
