Job Description
HGV Class 2 Driver
Shaftesbury - Working across Hampshire
Permanent, full-time
Competitive Salary Plus Benefits
As a Class 1/2 Driver with YellowStone Environmental Solutions, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of hazardous and non-hazardous waste across customer locations.
This is a hands-on role that requires professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety.
You will work closely with the operations team and benefit from ongoing training and development to support your growth.
More about the role:
- Drive HGV vehicles to collect hazardous waste from customer sites
- Support loaders when the vehicle is not in transit, working collaboratively as part of the operations team
- Plan and manage on-road routes to meet time-sensitive delivery deadlines
- Complete daily vehicle walk-around checks and accurately report defects
- Comply with all on-site and third-party health and safety requirements
- Manage drivers’ hours safely and legally
- Receive ongoing training to enhance your skills and knowledge

Qualifications
About you:
- Experienced Class 1/2 driver with a minimum of one year of commercial HGV driving
- Hold a valid HGV licence, Driver CPC, Digital Tachograph Card, and ADR licence
- Confident operating road tankers and vacuum tankers
- Able to work to deadlines and manage routes efficiently
- Strong focus on safety, compliance, and emergency response
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions and performing physically demanding tasks
- A proactive problem solver with a professional approach to customer service
