HGV Class 2 Driver wanted in Newent, Gloucestershire
£35,100 per annum + Overtime
Working Monday to Friday on a guaranteed 45-hour contract. Early starts from 03:00 onwards with overtime available and paid at x1.33 after 45 hours per week.
Looking for your next driving role? We're recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join a busy logistics team based in Newent, Gloucestershire. ⭐ Your Duties
- Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles (up to 18 tonnes) as part of a busy delivery fleet
- Flexibility to drive 7.5 tonne lorries and 3.5 tonne vans on a rotational basis
- Multi-drop deliveries to customers across England (typically 5-10 drops per day)
- Loading and unloading products safely and efficiently
- Providing excellent customer service at all delivery locations
- Completing all delivery paperwork accurately
- Ensuring vehicles are kept clean, compliant, and roadworthy
- Occasional overnight stays away from home when required

Requirements
- Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Licence
- Current Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Experience Driving Vehicles Up To 18 Tonnes Preferred
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
- Good knowledge of England's motorway network
- Comfortable with early morning starts from 03:00 onwards
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach
- Own transport required due to location at Newent Business Park
