About The Role
Pertemps Crewe is seeking a full-time HGV Class 2 Driver to operate from their client’s base in Warrington. This position involves transporting chilled and perishable goods, completing roughly six store deliveries per shift, and unloading stock using roll cages. You will manage scheduled time windows efficiently across designated routes. Candidates must hold a valid Category C licence, a Driver CPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card, along with a minimum of six months’ Class 2 experience and no major endorsements. The hourly pay is £17.30 via PAYE, rising to £19.39 umbrella, with overtime available up to £29.08.

We are currently recruiting for HGV 2 / Class 2 Drivers to work out of one of our prestigious clients based in Warrington
Responsibilities
For this HGV 2 / Class 2 Drivers role, you will be responsible for:
- Completing store deliveries across designated routes
- Transporting chilled and perishable goods safely and efficiently
- Making approximately 6 drops per shift
- Using roll cages to unload deliveries into store locations
- Ensuring deliveries are completed within scheduled time windows
Requirements
What We're Looking For in the HGV Class 2 Driver:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Minimum 6 months' Class 2 driving experience
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- No major driving endorsements

- PAYE Rate £17.30PH, PAYE Umbrella Rate £19.39PH
- Overtime available after 48 hours paid up to £29.08PH Umbrella Rate including holiday pay
- Consistent, ongoing work throughout the year
- Structured weekly rota for excellent work-life balance (4 days a week)
- Average 12-hour shifts
- AM start times between 02:00-07:00 (will include Saturday rota)
- PM start times between 14:00-21:00 (will include Sunday rota)
