HGV Class 2 ADR (Packages) Driver
Location: Bedford
Salary: £42,000 per annum
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Workchain is currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 ADR (Packages) Driver to join a leading client in the Bedford area. This is an excellent opportunity offering long-term employment with the chance to secure a permanent position.
Don't have your ADR qualification? If you're an experienced Class 2 Driver, our client is willing to support the right candidate in gaining their ADR (Packages) qualification.
The Role
- Delivering packaged hazardous goods to commercial customers.
- Completing deliveries safely and efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy.
- Completing all transport documentation accurately.
- Adhering to all Driver Hours, Working Time, ADR, and Health & Safety regulations.

Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 07:00 AM starts
- 10+ hour shifts
- No weekend work
Salary & Benefits
- £42,000 per annum
- Temporary to permanent opportunity.

- Opportunity to gain your ADR (Packages) qualification if you're an experienced Class 2 Driver without ADR.

Requirements

- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital Tachograph card.
- ADR (Packages) licence preferred, but not essential for experienced Class 2 drivers willing to obtain the qualification.
- Previous Class 2 driving experience.
- Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious attitude.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
