Salary: £37,000.00 - £39,000.00 per year
Class 2 HGV Driver
Pay: £14.85ph (£37,065.60pa) + Overtime + £30 overnight payment + Annual Bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday – 48 hour contract (4am starts, average 2 nights out per week)
We are recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join a client of ours based in the outskirts of Norwich on a permanent basis. You’ll be responsible for nationwide deliveries of products ensuring goods arrive safely, securely and on time.
Role Overview
- Safely load, secure and unload goods.
- Carry out long distance deliveries and collections across the UK.
- Check paperwork and ensure vehicle weight limits are not exceeded.
- Follow agreed delivery schedules and update on progress or delays.
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and professional presentation.
- Deliver excellent customer service and represent the business positively.

What We’re Looking For
- Full UK Class 2 HGV licence.
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience.
- Good knowledge of UK road network and commercial driving regulations.
- Ability to carry out manual handling tasks.
- Positive, flexible approach with good communication skills.
- Happy to do nights out – approx 2 a week.
Package & Benefits
- Pay: £14.85ph (£37,065.60pa) + overtime (x 1.3 after 48 hours).
- Overnight allowance: £30 per night (2 nights per week on average).
- Contract: Permanent, full-time, 48 hours per week (early starts).
