Class 2 Food Waste Collection Driver
Location: Bexhill-on-Sea, TN39
Pay Rate: £16.67 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 3:00pm
Job Type: Full-time
About The Role
Workmate Agency are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join our team in Bexhill-on-Sea. The role involves driving a 12-tonne food waste collection vehicle and carrying out commercial food waste collections safely and efficiently.
This is a great opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for consistent weekday work.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a Class 2 (Category C) 12-tonne food waste collection vehicle.
- Carry out commercial food waste collections in a safe and efficient manner.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is maintained to a high standard.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and waste collection guidelines.
- Complete relevant paperwork and comply with tachograph regulations.
- Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.

Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous experience driving Class 2 vehicles is preferred.
- Good understanding of road safety and compliance requirements.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
Working Hours & Pay
- Monday to Friday
- 6:30am start – 3:00pm finish
- £16.67 per hour
