HGV Class 2 Drivers
Location: Biggleswade - SG18
Salary: £20.46 per hour inclusive of holiday pay. (Circa £800 to £1000 per week)
Contract: Full-Time, Temp to Permanent
Hours: 40 to 50 hours per week, Typical Starts - 3:30 am to 4:00 am
The Role
You will be more than just a driver. You will be representing the UK's No.1 Bakery Brand, supplying 18,000 businesses with fresh bread since 1876. You will be joining a team of professionals operating out of its state-of-the-art depot, driving maintained and clean vehicles.
The Recipe (What You'll Do)
- Early Mornings, Free Afternoons: You'll typically start around 03:30 AM - 04:00 AM. It's an early rise, but your afternoons will be completely your own.
- Autonomy & Ownership: No heavy lifting, pre-loaded vehicles with a guaranteed weekly rota and routes
- Brand Ambassador: You will be provided with a company uniform and deliver directly to our multiple retail customers daily, building strong relationships and exceeding their expectations.
- Safety First: You'll use your transport legislation knowledge (Driver Hours, Working Time Directive) and perform basic vehicle mechanical checks to ensure a safe day.
