Join GXO Logistics as a Class 2 Driver supporting our Wickes home-delivery operation in Bellshill.

It is a permanent, full-time role - 45 hours / week. You will be working Tuesday to Saturday starting between 05:00 and 07:00.

  • £1892.8 KPI bonus / annum

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Delivering kitchen & bathroom flatpack products as part of a two-person crew to customers premises, including high rise buildings, providing excellent face to face customer service
  • Deliver using a Class 2 HIAB vehicle, as required from Wickes stores
  • Carry out vehicle and auxiliary equipment checks prior to the operation of any vehicle, reporting any defects immediately. Report any delivery issues or exceptions in a timely manner
  • Complying with all relevant legislation in line with Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive requirements
  • Responsible for the Health and Safety of themselves and others, adhering to safe working practices and the Health & Safety at Work Act, including accident, incident and damage reporting

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • A full UK driving licence with category Class 2 entitlement
  • A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
  • Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than 6 current penalty points
  • No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
