The business serves a diverse customer base, including specialist installers, construction companies, glazing companies, and architects. CT Glass supplies both bespoke and standard products for high- and low-volume orders.
Role Description
This is a full-time job, on-site HGV Class 2 Driver role based in Bradford. The driver will be responsible for safely transporting glass products to customers and sites, following planned routes and schedules. Daily tasks include:

- Performing vehicle checks
- Ensuring loads are safely secured and glass checked
- Assisting with unloading at delivery locations when required using our lorry mounted forklift trucks
The role involves:
- Maintaining accurate delivery documentation
- Complying with transport and safety regulations
- Communicating professionally with customers and the operations team
The driver will also support warehouse and loading activities as needed to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
Qualifications
- Strong truck driving experience and safe handling of HGV/Class 2 vehicles.
- Knowledge of DOT and transport regulations and commitment to compliance.
- Experience if possible with loading and unloading goods using lorry mounted FLT's.
- Valid HGV Class C licence, CPC and clean driving record.
- Good spatial awareness and attention to detail for securing and protecting glass products.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours to meet delivery schedules.
- Effective communication skills and professional customer service attitude.
- Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills for delivery notes and vehicle logs.
- Physical ability to assist with some manual handling tasks when required, following safe lifting practices.
- Previous experience in delivering to construction, glazing, or related industries is an advantage.

Employee Remuneration & Benefits
- Hours - 42.5 hours per week.
- Overtime over the 42.5 hours, time & half.
- Sunday, Bank holidays, double time.
- Holidays - 20 days holiday per year, some days to keep for a Christmas closure.
- Wage - £627.73 per week.
- Company Pension.
- Overnight allowance - £26.20.
- Food allowance up to £25 on the first day.
- Overnight parking services, company pays.
- Occasional nights out.
- One CPC course per year.
