About The Role
Pertemps Bristol Industrial seeks an HGV Class 2 Driver for night store deliveries based in Avonmouth. This full-time, temporary role offers potential permanency and pays £17.00–£22.00 per hour via PAYE with paid breaks.
Responsibilities
- Working a rotating shift pattern with starts between 23:30 and 03:00, you will handle 20–30 multi-drop deliveries across a 10–12 hour shift, covering Monday to Sunday.
- Loading and unloading using cages and tail lifts.
- Completing pre- and post-trip inspections.
- Maintaining accurate paperwork.
- Ensuring full compliance with tachograph rules, working time regulations, and site health and safety protocols.

Requirements
- Applicants need a Category C licence, valid CPC, and digital tachograph card, plus solid UK road knowledge.
- Two years’ experience is preferred, though less experienced drivers can be considered with our training academy.
Pay
£17.00–£22.00 per hour (PAYE) (paid breaks)

What you will need
- UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence with 2+ years’ UK experience (Can accept with less experience if booked onto a day with our training academy)
- Valid CPC and Digi Tachograph card
- Good knowledge of UK road network and WTD
- Max 6 points (no DD, DR, IN or TT)
