HGV Class 2 Drivers Wanted – Looking for a Role That Keeps You Active?
Location: Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire (ST6)
Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour PAYE including holiday pay or LTD Company Drivers Welcome
Job Type: Full-Time | Ongoing | Long-Term Work
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday | Days | Early Starts (04:00–06:00)
Drivers Today are recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a busy food distribution operation based in Stoke-on-Trent. This isn't just a driving job – it's a hands-on role where you'll be delivering chilled and frozen products to takeaway restaurants and kebab shops. If you're physically fit, enjoy being active, and want regular, long-term work, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
- 🚛 HGV Class 2 Refrigerated Vehicle Driver
- ❄️ Temperature-controlled (chilled & frozen) vehicles
- 🥙 Delivering food products to kebab shops, takeaways, and food outlets
- 📦 Multi-drop deliveries
- 💪 Manual handling and heavy lifting involved
- 🚚 Load your own vehicle before leaving the depot
- 📦 Unload deliveries and carry stock into customers' premises
- 🛒 Use pump trucks, delivery trolleys, and tail lifts
- 📅 Monday to Friday
- 🕕 Start times between 04:00 and 06:00
- 🚀 Immediate starts available

What We're Looking For
- ✔ Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- ✔ Driver CPC Qualification Card
- ✔ Digital Tachograph Card
- ✔ Comfortable with physical work and manual handling
- ✔ Positive, hardworking attitude
- ✔ Good customer service skills
- ✔ Maximum 6 penalty points
