HGV Class 2 Driver – Waste Collection – Kettering/Wellingborough
£16.35 PAYE or £20.79 Umbrella | Full Time | Immediate Start
We are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to work with a local authority waste collection team covering Kettering and Wellingborough depots.
Pay & Hours
- £16.35 per hour (PAYE) or £20.79 per hour (Umbrella)
- Up to 37 hours per week (not guaranteed, but most weeks full-time)
- Start time: 06:30
- Ongoing work until at least June 2026

- Kettering (NN16)
- Wellingborough (NN8)
The Role
- Driving and operating a refuse collection vehicle (HGV Class 2)
- Working as part of a crew on planned routes
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Ensuring safe and efficient operation at all times
- Supporting waste and recycling collections
Requirements (Essential)
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous experience in waste/refuse or similar driving role preferred
- Able to work early starts and as part of a team
- Flexible to work across both depots
