Experience
Plant Hire experience is essential
We are currently looking for an experienced Class 2 (HGV C) Driver to join our team in East London.
The successful candidate will have proven experience working within the plant hire industry and be confident with the delivery and collection of plant and equipment from customer sites.
The Role
- Delivering and collecting plant and construction equipment across East London and surrounding areas
- Loading and securing equipment safely for transportation
- Completing vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is maintained to a high standard
- Completing delivery and collection paperwork
- Liaising professionally with customers and site personnel
- Working safely and in accordance with transport and health & safety regulations
- Ensuring all loads are secured correctly before leaving site

Essential Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Plant Hire experience is essential
- Experience delivering and collecting construction/plant equipment
- Good knowledge of London and surrounding areas
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Strong understanding of load security and road safety
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach
