Dockside Personnel Ltd is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to work with clients across the Essex area.
We are looking for reliable and professional drivers who take pride in delivering a high standard of service while maintaining excellent safety standards. If this rate seems low it is standard, we can however discuss rolling in the hourly holiday rate which would increase the rate by £1.96 per hour, this would need discussing first & explained.
Requirements
- Minimum 23 years' HGV Class 2 driving experience
- Full UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than three penalty points on your licence
- No DR, DD or IN driving convictions
- Good knowledge of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
- Ability to complete vehicle safety checks and maintain accurate paperwork

Duties
- Completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately
- Loading and unloading where required
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
- Following all road transport and health and safety legislation
