Driver Hire is recruiting on behalf of one of the UK's leading distributors based in Chesterfield, and we're looking for a professional, safety-focused driver to join their growing team.

The Role
As a Class 2 HIAB Driver, you'll be delivering products safely and efficiently between depots and customer locations, operating your HIAB with confidence while delivering first-class customer service.

You'll be trusted to represent the business professionally, ensuring every delivery is completed safely, accurately, and on time.
Your Responsibilities
- Operating a Class 2 vehicle with a HIAB crane
- Delivering products safely to depots and customer sites
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety and equipment checks
- Loading and unloading goods using the HIAB
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
- Checking and verifying orders before delivery
- Following planned delivery schedules and routes
- Maintaining compliance with Driver Hours, Tachograph, and transport legislation
- Keeping your vehicle, crane, and load secure throughout the day

What You'll Need
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid HIAB Certificate
- Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- A strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A reliable, professional attitude with great attention to detail
