Driver Hire Leeds West is looking for Class 2 HIAB drivers for ad hoc work with customers in the Leeds West area.
Most of the work is with builders’ merchants and timber companies, but no two bookings are necessarily the same. We’re particularly keen to hear from drivers with brick grab experience.
Most shifts are days, usually starting around 7 am. We do need drivers who can be flexible, as start times and the amount of work available will depend on the customer. Some bookings could lead to temp-to-perm opportunities.

Pay rates
- Days: £17.00 per hour with holiday accrued, or £19.05 per hour with holiday pay included
- Overtime: £19.20 per hour with holiday accrued, or £21.48 per hour with holiday pay included
- Higher rates for evening and night work
Overtime generally starts after eight hours, although this can vary by customer. We’ll confirm the rate for each booking before you accept it.
You’ll Need
- A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- A current HIAB qualification (ALLMI or accredited equivalent)
- A valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
- No DD, DR, IN or TT codes on your driving licence

Ideally, you’ll have at least a year’s experience driving Class 2 vehicles and operating a HIAB.
