The Role

Working from our Edinburgh depot, you'll be responsible for the safe delivery and collection of scaffolding materials to sites using our HIAB-equipped vehicles. You will be expected to work closely with our yard team and contracts supervisors to ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on schedule. Excellent salary package with 30 days paid holiday per year and overtime available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and collect scaffolding materials safely and efficiently.
  • Operate a HIAB crane to load and unload materials on site.
  • Carry out daily vehicle, crane and lifting equipment safety checks.
  • Ensure all loads are secured in accordance with current legislation.
  • Complete defect reports accurately.
  • Keep the vehicle clean, presentable and well maintained.
  • Assist with loading and organising materials in the yard when required.
  • Work safely and comply with all company health and safety procedures.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Full UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
  • Driver CPC qualification.
  • Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Valid ALLMI or CPCS HIAB qualification.
  • Experience operating a remote-control HIAB crane.
  • Previous experience delivering scaffolding or construction materials.
  • Excellent understanding of load restraint and lifting operations.
  • Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.

  • Scaffold labouring or yard experience.
  • Forklift licence.
  • Experience working within the scaffolding or construction industry.
