Class 2 Drivers – Looking for Regular Work and a Decent Start Time?
Drivers Today are looking for experienced HGV Class 2 / Category C Drivers for a busy, well-established pallet distribution company based in Longport, Newcastle-under-Lyme, near Stoke-on-Trent.
If you're fed up with changing jobs every day, unpredictable shifts or starting work in the middle of the night, this could be just what you're looking for!
We're offering regular Monday-to-Friday day work, with 07:30 starts, approximately 45 hours per week and the opportunity to settle into a long-term position.
What's on Offer?

At 45 paid hours, that's approximately £765 gross per week, depending on actual hours worked.

What Will You Be Doing?
You'll be driving an 18-tonne Class 2 curtain-sided vehicle, delivering palletised goods to businesses and residential customers.
The work involves:
- Multi-drop pallet deliveries, typically 15–20 drops per day
- Deliveries mainly across Cheshire and Warrington (CW and WA postcodes)
- Clustered local delivery routes
- Customer collections
- Using a tail lift and pump trucks
- Completing delivery paperwork
- Providing friendly, professional customer service
You'll be covering familiar delivery areas, allowing you to get to know your routes and customers.
What Do You Need?
We're looking for drivers with:
- A valid HGV Class 2 / Category C licence
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- At least 12 months' Class 2 multi-drop experience
- Previous pallet delivery or pallet-network experience
- Confidence using curtain-sided vehicles, tail lifts and pump trucks
- A reliable, professional approach to work
