Experienced Class 2 Multi-Drop Drivers Wanted

Drivers Today are recruiting HGV Class 2 / Category C Multi-Drop Drivers for regular work with Browns Distribution in Stoke-on-Trent.

We're looking for experienced drivers who are comfortable with a busy multi-drop day and want the consistency of working with the same established transport operation on a regular basis.

This is pallet distribution work, so you'll need to be comfortable completing multiple deliveries and collections while maintaining good standards of driving, paperwork, and customer service.

The Job

You'll be carrying out HGV Class 2 multi-drop pallet deliveries and collections throughout the local and regional area.

Typical duties include:

  • HGV Class 2 / Category C driving
  • Multi-drop pallet deliveries
  • Customer collections
  • Curtain-sided vehicles
  • Local and regional routes
  • Commercial and industrial customers
  • Completing delivery paperwork
  • Correct load security
  • Professional customer service
  • Some manual handling where required
  • Managing your delivery schedule safely and efficiently

This is a busy operation, so we're particularly interested in drivers with previous pallet-network, multi-drop, or curtain-side experience.

Pay & Regular Work

  • £17.00– per hour
  • PAYE and LTD drivers welcome
  • Monday to Friday
  • Day shifts
  • Weekly pay
  • Regular ongoing work

If you're reliable, professional, and capable of handling a busy multi-drop route, there is the opportunity to become a regular driver on the contract rather than simply covering occasional shifts.

What We're Looking For

You'll need:

  • Valid HGV Class 2 / Category C licence
  • Driver CPC
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience
  • Multi-drop experience strongly preferred
  • Pallet-network experience advantageous
  • Curtain-side experience preferred
  • Comfortable with a busy delivery schedule
  • Good understanding of load security
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Professional customer-facing attitude
  • Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
