Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 Night Drivers to join a prestigious client of ours, based in Hemel Hempstead.

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure full-time, ongoing work with guaranteed hours, delivering essential products to a variety of commercial locations across the region.

Pay Rate

  • £23.66 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

Working Pattern

  • Full-time position
  • Any 5 nights out of 7
  • Weekend availability is essential
  • Start times available at:
    • 18:00
    • 19:00
    • 20:00
    • 21:00

The Role

You will be responsible for completing multi-drop cage deliveries to a range of commercial locations, ensuring customers receive the products and supplies required to support their day-to-day operations.

Delivery Locations May Include:

  • Retail and hospitality venues
  • Airports and transport hubs
  • Commercial premises
  • Food and beverage outlets
  • Other customer sites

  • Food and beverage supplies
  • Dairy products
  • Packaging and disposable items
  • Cleaning and hygiene products
  • Catering equipment and operational consumables
  • Other business-critical supplies

The vehicle will be pre-loaded before your shift. However, drivers will be responsible for:

  • Unloading cages at delivery points
  • Placing stock in designated drop-off areas
  • Collecting and returning empty cages
  • Completing deliveries safely and professionally
  • Providing excellent customer service at customer locations

Requirements

  • Minimum 18 months' Class 2 driving experience
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) license
  • No more than 6 penalty points on your license
  • No IN, DD or DR convictions
  • Physically fit, as the role involves regular manual handling, cage work and unloading deliveries at multiple locations
  • Good understanding of driver regulations and road safety
  • Reliable, professional and customer-focused attitude
  • Willing to work any 5 days from 7

Assessment & Training Process

Successful applicants will be required to:

  • Pass a theory test
  • Complete a driving assessment

Following this, drivers will undertake:

  • A full induction
  • A site tour
  • A comprehensive training programme
  • A period of shadow shifts

The complete onboarding process takes approximately 3 weeks.

A DBS check will be required upon successful completion of training.
