We are looking for a reliable and professional Class 2 HGV Recovery Truck Driver to join our team based in Blackpool.
The role involves attending breakdowns and recovery jobs, safely loading and transporting vehicles, and providing a professional service to customers at the roadside.
The Role
Your Duties Will Include
- Attending vehicle breakdowns and recovery jobs
- Safely loading, securing and transporting vehicles
- Carrying out vehicle recoveries in a safe and professional manner
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Keeping recovery vehicles and equipment clean and serviceable
- Completing relevant job paperwork and records accurately
- Communicating professionally with customers, control staff and other road users
- Following company procedures and all relevant health and safety requirements

Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A valid Category C / Class 2 HGV licence
- A valid Driver CPC
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- A good driving record
- Good communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work independently and use good judgement at the roadside
- A reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach
- Proven HGV Recovery history and references
Previous vehicle recovery, roadside assistance or transporter experience is essential
