Class 2 Hook Lift Driver
CareerMakers Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 Hook Lift Drivers for an ongoing position with our well-established client based in Audenshaw.
Looking for stable Monday to Friday work, no weekends and consistent daytime hours? This could be the role for you.

- Location: Audenshaw
- Position: Class 2 Hook Lift (RoRo) Driver
- Pay: £15.45 per hour PAYE
- Holiday Pay: £17.32 per hour including holiday pay
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 08:00-16:30
- Weekends: No weekends
- Work: Full-time, ongoing
- Contract: Long-term opportunity
The Role
You will be operating a Class 2 Hook Lift (RoRo) vehicle, moving containers and waste loads between local sites.

Your duties will include:
- Safely operating a Class 2 Hook Lift (RoRo) vehicle
- Collecting and delivering containers between local sites
- Moving waste loads safely and efficiently
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
- Completing all required paperwork accurately
- Following site safety and environmental procedures
- Ensuring vehicles and loads are operated safely
- Representing the company professionally on and off site
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Minimum 2 years' Class 2 driving experience
- Hook Lift experience preferred
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of UK driving laws and safety standards
- Reliable and punctual
- Professional attitude
- Strong focus on safety
