HGV Class 2 Tramper Driver
SBL Group | Bradford, West Yorkshire | Full-Time
SBL Group is continuing to grow, and following further investment in our fleet, we are looking for a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Tramper Driver to join our team.
This is a tramping position, so applicants must be comfortable working away from home and staying overnight in the vehicle during the working week as required.
The Role
As an HGV Class 2 Tramper Driver with SBL Group, you will carry out deliveries and collections across the UK while representing the business professionally with our customers and partners.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing deliveries and collections across the UK
- Tramping and staying away from home as required
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Ensuring loads are transported safely and securely
- Completing all required delivery and transport documentation
- Complying with drivers' hours, Working Time Directive and tachograph regulations
- Maintaining professional communication with customers and the SBL transport team
- Keeping the vehicle clean, safe and well looked after

Requirements
Applicants must:
- Hold a valid Category C (Class 2) HGV licence
- Be willing and able to tramp and stay away from home
- Have a good understanding of UK drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
- Be reliable, punctual and professional
- Take pride in looking after their allocated vehicle
- Be comfortable carrying out nationwide work
