Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional HGV Class C Driver to join our team in Rampisham. This pivotal role involves the safe and efficient collection and transportation of fallen stock and food waste, ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Your contribution is essential to SARIA’s ongoing success and commitment to sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class C HGV vehicle safely and responsibly at all times, adhering to all road traffic and company regulations.
- Collect fallen stock and food waste from designated agricultural and industrial sites within the assigned route.
- Ensure all loads are securely and hygienically handled to prevent contamination or spillage.
- Complete accurate delivery and collection paperwork in line with company procedures.
- Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Maintain effective communication with the operations team to ensure timely collections and deliveries.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental policies and guidelines.
- Represent SARIA professionally when interacting with clients and site personnel.

Qualifications And Experience
- Valid UK HGV Class C driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience driving in the manufacturing, industrial, or waste management sectors is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with handling fallen stock or food waste is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to waste transportation.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude.
- Ability to work full-time hours, including some early starts or occasional overtime if required.
