Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site HGV Class One Driver role. The driver will be responsible for operating HGV Class One vehicles to transport goods between depots, customer locations, and distribution centers while following planned routes and schedules. Day-to-day tasks include:

The role involves adherence to all relevant transport regulations, company policies, and safety procedures, as well as maintaining a clean and well-presented vehicle. The driver will also represent Fenwick Bros Ltd professionally when interacting with customers and site personnel.
Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class One (CDL Class A equivalent) license and proven truck driving experience with heavy goods vehicles.
- Experience with safe loading, unloading, and securing of cargo in a truck environment.
- Solid understanding of DOT regulations or equivalent UK transport and road safety regulations, including driver hours and compliance requirements.
- Strong awareness of vehicle safety, routine checks, and basic truck maintenance to ensure roadworthiness.
- Good communication skills, punctuality, and the ability to follow instructions and routing information accurately.
- Reliable work ethic, strong attention to detail, and commitment to health and safety standards.
- Previous experience in freight, logistics, or distribution driving is beneficial.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including early starts or occasional weekend work as required.
