HGV Class 1 Driver Ongoing Work | Dagenham, Essex (RM9)

Earn up to £28.95 per Hour | Guaranteed 12-Hour Pay | Full-Time & Part-Time Available | Immediate Starts

WPRG Ltd is currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing agency work with a prestigious client based in Dagenham (RM9).

Whether you're an experienced Class 1 Driver or have recently passed your test, we have regular work available 7 days a week, with flexible start times to suit your lifestyle.

The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you'll carry out a variety of work for one of our valued clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles
  • Store deliveries across the South of England
  • Trunking work
  • Long-distance driving
  • No manual handling
  • Completing daily vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
  • Working safely in accordance with driver hours, tachograph and road transport regulations
  • Average 12-hour shifts
  • Start times available throughout the day and night
  • Shifts available Monday to Sunday

Pay Rates

PAYE (Holiday Pay Included)

  • Weekdays: £19.95 per hour
  • Saturday: £22.53 per hour
  • Sunday: £23.81 per hour
  • Bank Holidays: £28.95 per hour

PAYE (Holiday Pay Accrued)

  • Weekdays: £17.81 per hour
  • Saturday: £20.11 per hour
  • Sunday: £21.25 per hour
  • Bank Holidays: £25.84 per hour

Minimum 12 hours' guaranteed pay per shift

What We're Looking For

  • Valid Driver CPC
  • Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
  • Ability to complete a short onsite assessment (theory test and driving assessment)
  • Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious approach
  • Good communication skills and spoken English
  • Previous HGV Class 1 experience is preferred; however, newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply
