About The Role
We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious HGV Driver who takes pride in delivering excellent service. An HGV driver for OCS, the ideal candidate will be adaptable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing both local and long-distance delivery routes.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load, transport, and unload soiled linen and clean stock in accordance with company procedures.
- Conduct local and long-distance deliveries to customer sites and operational locations.
- Complete vehicle checks and maintain accurate delivery documentation.
- Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed on time and to the required service standards.
- Adhere to all road traffic regulations, driver hours legislation, and health and safety requirements.
- Work a variable shift pattern, including flexibility to support business needs.
- Perform physically demanding duties, including manual handling of stock.
- Work safely and effectively in all weather conditions.
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach when representing the company.

Essential Criteria
- Valid HGV (Category C or C+E) licence with a minimum of 2 years' driving experience.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good understanding of driver hours regulations and road transport legislation.
- Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling duties.
- Flexible and reliable approach to working hours and shift patterns.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively.
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience operating within an airport environment.
- Knowledge of airport security procedures and airside operations.
- Experience in the logistics, laundry, linen, or distribution sectors.
