Job Responsibilities/Key Accountabilities
- Support the delivery of >99% on time deliveries and ensure warehouse errors do not exceed 0.10%
- Be reliable and able to work on your own initiative
- Able to work and dislocate to other depots
- Ensuring goods are safely secured
- Keeping your vehicle in good condition
- Loading and unloading the vehicle
- Taking the quickest route to your destination (map reading always an advantage)
- Be able to handle instructions well

Essential
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
- Previous experience of lorry driving (one year)
- UK Driving licence (full, clean)
- LGV license in categories C+E (larger, articulated vehicles)
- You'll also need to hold a Certificate of Professional Competence – a practical and theory test taken every five years to prove a driver’s suitability.
- Methodical with the ability to prioritize workload
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Excellent customer service skills
