HGV Driver Position at Adams Morey
Adams Morey is seeking a reliable and professional HGV Driver to join our team at our Basingstoke, Bell Road site.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced driver to play an important role in supporting our busy commercial vehicle operation. We are looking for someone with a flexible approach to work, who is happy to support the needs of the business. Plenty of overtime is available.
Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
Salary
£13.00 per hour
Hours
Monday to Friday 7.00 am to 4.00 pm, i.e. 42.5 hours per week, 30 minute lunch (unpaid).
Key Responsibilities
- Collecting and delivering commercial vehicles as required.
- Safely transporting vehicles between customer, workshop, and other business locations.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects or issues.
- Ensuring all relevant paperwork and documentation is completed accurately.
- Supporting the workshop and wider team with vehicle movements.
- Maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service at all times.
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with company policies and road safety regulations.

Ideally, we are looking for:
- A valid Class C&E (Class 1) driving licence.
- Previous HGV driving experience.
- A flexible approach to working hours and the needs of the business.
- A professional, reliable, and dependable approach to work.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A strong awareness of health and safety requirements.
