Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver - 44-Tonne Branch Distribution

BSS Magna Park, Lutterworth
Shift Pattern
Sunday – Thursday (50 Hours Per Week)
Start Times
between the hours of 19:00 – 22:00 (10 hour shift)
The Gear
Assigned DAF XF Fleet (All less than 18 months old)
Are you a Class 1 Driver who takes pride in your vehicle and prefers a consistent, organized route? Join BSS, a powerhouse in the Travis Perkins Group, for a dedicated night-shift role that offers stability, modern tech, and a "can-do" team culture.
You won't be breaking your back with manual unloading here. Your focus is on the drive. You’ll be responsible for:
- Efficient Branch Delivery: Completing 3 to 5 multi-drop deliveries per night across our branch network.
- Professional Loading: Managing the arrival and positioning of your 44t vehicle for Forklift-only unloading (No handballing required).
- Fleet Excellence: Taking primary responsibility for your assigned DAF XF, ensuring pre- and post-shift checks keep our premium fleet roadworthy and compliant.
- Compliance: Maintaining accurate digital records and adhering to all road transport and traffic legislation.

What We’re Looking For
- License: A valid Class 1 (C+E) license with up-to-date CPC and Digi-Tacho.
- Experience: Previous experience with 44-tonne vehicles and multi-drop logistics.
- Autonomy: A driver who is comfortable working independently through the night and can resolve on-road challenges proactively.
- Mindset: A reliable, safety-first professional. While an FLT license is a bonus, we are more than happy to provide full training if you don’t have one.
