Driver Hire Bristol is recruiting for professional Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers to support a busy transport operation carrying out trunking runs between depots and distribution centres. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking for regular long shifts with a choice of day or night work.

The Role
- Complete Class 1 trunking runs between depots and distribution centres
- Minimal manual handling involved
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and complete all relevant paperwork
- Ensure deliveries are completed safely and on time
- Follow Drivers’ Hours, Working Time, and Tachograph regulations at all times
- Day shifts start at 06:00
- Night shifts start at 18:00
- 15-hour shifts available
Pay & Benefits
- £17.00 – £19.05 per hour (holiday pay included via advanced holiday payment method)
- Weekly PAYE pay
- Ongoing work with regular day and night shifts
- Supportive transport team
What You’ll Need

- Full UK Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tacho cards
- A minimum of 1 year’s Class 1 driving experience is essential!
- Previous trunking experience preferred
- Good understanding of Drivers’ Hours and Tachograph regulations
- Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach
