Location: Middlesbrough (UK-wide travel required)
Salary: £32,000 – £35,500 + overtime
Hours: 45 hours per week
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

INFRATEC is a specialist highways technology delivery company supporting motorway and strategic road network infrastructure across the UK. We transport and install critical roadside and tunnel technology equipment nationwide.
About the Role
We are seeking an HGV Driver / HIAB Operator to join our field delivery team. This role supports highways technology installations and infrastructure projects across motorway and tunnel environments.
Working Pattern:
- UK-wide travel required
- Regular weekday working away from home
- Predominantly night shifts Monday to Thursday
- Friday typically used as travel day home

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive HGV vehicles to transport highways technology and infrastructure equipment
- Deliver and collect roadside technology assets
- Operate HIAB / lorry-mounted crane (training provided if required)
- Support lifting operations under lift plans
- Carry out load securing and safe transport
- Assist site teams with logistics and equipment positioning
- Manage Driver CPC and tachograph compliance
- Maintain high health and safety standards
Essential Requirements:
- Class 1 HGV Licence
- Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Experience in professional HGV driving
- Strong safety awareness
- Willingness to travel and work away during the week
- Reliable and flexible attitude
Desirable (Training Available):
- ALLMI or CPCS Lorry Loader certification
- HIAB experience
- Slinger/Signaller certification
- Load securing and lifting operations experience
- Highways or infrastructure site experience
